Making a film is hard, especially when you’re a small, independent team with limited resources.

Consulting

During the process of making JessZilla, we wished we had someone to guide us who also understood we did not have a large budget for distribution and marketing.

We want to provide what we wished we’d had! We offer hourly, tailored marketing consulting for filmmakers, building audience-first strategy and practical rollout plans that connect the film with the people most likely to care because we want to help other indie filmmakers find success with their work.

With JessZilla, this looked like creating the Jesselyn "JessZilla" Silva fund (proceeds went to brain cancer research), a partnership with the WBC who created a belt specifically for brain cancer awareness with Jesselyn on it, and getting accounts from Laila Ali to Mike Tyson to share the film's trailer at no cost.

    • Letters encouraging Jesselyn were read to her in hospital and lifted her spirits

    • Film itself became a time-capsule for her family

  • Partnership with CURE and the WBC resulted in over $50,000 raised

    • Money raised supported two DIPG/DMG projects

  • All proceeds went to promising research that wouldn’t have been funded without CURE and Jess’ fund

  • The WBC flew Pedro to Bangkok and honored his mission to continue raising awareness in Jesselyn’s name. He won the WBC’s ‘Bravest Man on Earth’ Award.

  • In Bangkok, Pedro began shaping an ATHENTOR x WBC boxing club in Thailand, dedicated to honoring Jesselyn and continuing her legacy of courage and heart by helping kids who need hope the most.
